WASHINGTON – Organizers behind the B2B conference for cannabis industry payments, banking, and compliance (PBC) released a new banking directory this week. The comprehensive guide lists banks and credit unions that offer services to the cannabis sector.

The release of the cannabis banking directory aligns with PBC’s goal of enhancing the infrastructure around cannabis banking and compliance. The organization hopes the new directory will facilitate connections between cannabis-related businesses and financial institutions.

PBC is preparing for its annual conference scheduled for September 4-5, 2024, in Washington, D.C. The event is expected to attract over 500 executives and thought leaders for discussions on critical issues including banking challenges, compliance, and regulation in the cannabis industry. According to PBC, previous participants have included state cannabis regulators, banking regulators, IRS commissioners, senators, and members of Congress.

Founded in 2018, PBC has broadened its focus to include other emerging industries facing similar challenges, notably with the introduction of the CBC Summit, which addresses banking and compliance in the cryptocurrency sector.
